We’re looking for an outstanding Business Development Associate to join our sales team to generate high potential pharma leads and grow our commercial pipeline.

As a part of the company’s commercial team, you will report to the Global Commercial EVP and will be responsible for generating commercial leads to grow Vinehealth’s customer pipeline and keeping track of the leads in our CRM.

Key responsibilities:

You’ll be responsible for generating and nurturing life science leads to drive Vinehealth’s go-to-market, including:

  • Generating life science leads to grow a healthy customer pipeline through cold calling, email marketing, social media, and other relevant marketing channels
  • Classifying hot, warm, and cold leads based on their need, budget, and decision-making capabilities
  • Organizing and keeping the lead statuses updated in the CRM software
  • Extracting CRM data to perform analyses that drives understanding and improvement of lead conversion
  • Researching the target market during lead generation activities; understanding their pain points, feature requirements and the competitive landscape
  • Collaborating with marketing and sales team members to work on tasks relevant to lead generation

About You

Skills & attributes:

  • You are excited to work under pressure to deliver against targets to increase the customer footprint
  • You are highly detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills and a good head for numbers
  • You are extremely ambitious and entrepreneurial, driven to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, ever-changing startup environment, and can organise & prioritise your work independently
  • You are very comfortable with digital technology and working remotely
  • You are a critical thinker and driven to problem solve to improve the organisation around you
  • You are a team player with proactive and positive influence on your colleagues and a passion for making an impact in healthcare

Essential experience:

  • You’ve had 2+ years’ experience in lead generation and prospecting
  • Excellent understanding of Excel/Google Slides
  • You have a good understanding of the healthcare and life sciences industry, and ideally you have experience in supporting selling to pharma, biotech, nutraceutical and/or medical device companies
