Introduction:

We are qlip, a startup operating at the intersection of AI, social media, and the creator economy.
We're looking for an experienced, dynamic Product Manager to take ownership of achieving product-market fit and turbocharging our delivery capacity. Working alongside talented engineering, data science and business teams, you'll bridge the gap between tech and marketing by bringing the user's perspective into the platform development.
This comes with guaranteed hands-on experience and autonomy in a fast-paced and invigorating work environment.
If you are passionate about creating user-centric products, have a growth mindset, and are excited to make a difference in an innovative space, we would love to hear from you. Learn more about us.

1. Team:

The Product Manager will report directly to our CEO and CTO. At qlip, we value teamwork, ownership, and collaboration. You'll be joining a tight-knit team of nine, consisting mostly of engineers.

2. Goals & Mission:

You bring that special product DNA to a highly technical team.

What you do 👇

🔎 INVESTIGATE: identify bugs/frustrations/opportunities by gathering and analysing data
Conduct user interviews
Run usage data analysis on Amplitude (or equivalent): funnels, retention, cohorts,…
Monitor the webapp’s performance
QA new features
🛣️ TRANSLATE & PLAN: turn these bugs/frustrations/opportunities into documented features and a product roadmap that the tech team can follow
define detailed specs for each feature
replicate bugs
grade tech effort and business impact of each feature/bug to prioritize
keep a thorough product roadmap and communicate it to the dev & business team
🎨 DESIGN: draw high fidelity mockups that fits our UI system for all front-end features
challenge the current UX and build revamped mockups to push change
build new UX workflows from scratch when pushing a new feature impacting front-end
constantly being in search of an improved UX and design for the app

Who you are 👇

Hands on - you enjoy having your hands in the engine, building things yourself, getting first hand feedback, when you see something broken you fix it.
Generalist and curious - you enjoy a large scope, to get things done quickly and iterate.
Owner in all things - you firmly believe that the work is done once the feature is live and 100% fitting with what the users expected, and the impact was analyzed, not before.
A critical thinker - you are not a “yes person” for every idea and suggestion thrown at you. A part of your role will be to keep it focused and “from the user to the roadmap”.

3. Requirements:

A good candidate will have:
3-5 years of experience in product management.
Skilled in at least 2 of the followings, curious on all 4:
QA
User research
UI/UX
Managing a product roadmap
Excellent written communication skills.
Fluent in English. French is a plus.
An exceptional candidate will have
Proven experience with a company from the pre-product market fit phase.
Experience in the video editing software industry or the creator economy.
A big bias for action → You understand the value of speed & Execution
Personality wise, we value individuals who are highly motivated, versatile, and have a keen eye for detail. Fluency in English is a must, and French is highly desirable.
If you enjoy autonomy, collaboration and emulation, you will be very happy within the team.

4. What’s in it for you:

You want to own a product & be the go to person when it comes to it, to be one of the very early core team to make it a success ? Then you are spot on.
You will join a diverse, experienced, caring and open team, where autonomy, ownership, transparency and openness are at the center of how we work with one another.
