\nAbout the role
\nAt Polymerize, we provide materials informatics software for materials companies to accelerate their product development and efficiently manage data while bringing operational efficiency and AI-driven material innovation to their R&D. We work at the intersection of AI and materials science and use our years of material research & experience background.
\nThis role is open to candidates in Singapore & India.
\n\nResponsibilities
\n- Owning and driving the product roadmap for Polymerize, and prioritizing product investments with input from our internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders in mind
- Working with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to innovate and build new, exceptional product features and improvements for our customers while maintaining the quality and experience of our existing product
- Providing tactical solutions on highly sensitive and critical issues and closing them with other stakeholders such as business, product owners, and dev teams.
- Build a culture of collaboration and transparency to achieve high operational excellence goals
- Engage and collaborate with the team to deliver product and business goals.
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to help improve the platforms.
- Handle budget planning spending and tracking for your area of responsibility.
- Provide supervision, mentoring, and development opportunities for associates and managers within the organization.

\nRequirement
\n- 8+ years of experience of engineering experience with a focus on large-scale distributed platforms
- Good Knowledge of Cloud Infra (AWS/Azure)
- Experience in Python, ReactJS framework, Databases(MongoDB)
- Strong technical background with the capability of being hands-on if required
- Ability to set and drive the technical vision and provide technical mentorship to all levels of engineering talent.
- Experience managing production systems with high uptime requirements
- High sense of urgency to solve problems and in executing them with extreme ownership.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good with people, ability to negotiate.
- Experience with hiring and building teams from the ground up
- A keen eye for new technology trends that can be leveraged
- Experience in AI/ML Infra/deployment/Op domain will be a plus
