\nAbout the role

At Polymerize, we provide materials informatics software for materials companies to accelerate their product development and efficiently manage data while bringing operational efficiency and AI-driven material innovation to their R&D. We work at the intersection of AI and materials science and use our years of material research & experience background.

This role is open to candidates in Singapore & India.
\n

\nResponsibilities

\n
  • Manages retains and grows revenue, responsible for sales and the customer relationship (may include new sales and revenue quota attainment).
\n
  • Cultivates customer relationships and ensures effective service delivery to accounts.
\n
  • Focuses on customer satisfaction, knows the customer's business and workflows, and develops a proper contact network within accounts.
\n
  • Supports execution of strategy at the account level.
\n
  • Works with and brings in experts/specialists onto the team where required, has oversight of all accounts activities.
\n
  • Responsible for forecasting keeps management in touch with accounts in a timely fashion, gathers intelligence on competitor activity, and gives feedback to marketing.
\n
  • Acts as a point of contact for the client provides an escalation path to and from Service and attends to customer issues promptly.
\n
  • Tracks customer activity in the internal system in order to execute account strategy and identify additional opportunities.
\n
  • May provide customer product training as necessary.
\n
  • Accountable for individual expense budget management.
\n

\nSkills & Requirements

\n
  • 3-5 years of account management experience with strong domain knowledge of SaaS products and markets.
\n
  • Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows.
\n
  • Relationship-building skills.
\n
  • Selling skills (identity, develop, and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling).
\n
  • Strong negotiation skills.
\n
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and execute a sales plan, and ability to use a variety of technology with a high level of proficiency.
\n
  • Problem-solving - ability to understand, articulate, structure, and solve client needs.
\n
  • Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization.
\n
  • Ability to collaborate with the account team.
\n
  • Experience/Education Background in Chemical Industry would be an advantage
