MicroSec Singapore ( is looking for a driven, passionate, and outgoing Marketing & Communications specialist to work closely with our commercial team in implementing marketing plans and strategies. This person should be naturally very curious, loves technology, and B2B-minded. This person will manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels (mostly LinkedIn), company blog, website, content management, generate new content ideas to engage community, and everything in between! We need this person to be our secret weapon and “go-to” expert, manager and do-er of all things relating to marketing and external communications. This person needs to be a marketing strategist that is not afraid to get their hands dirty and loves to think of new ways to engage!


  • Source, generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, articles, images, video or HTML) that builds connections, increase following and encourages target community to take action
  • Optimize company pages to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Regularly schedule social media posts using applications such as Buffer or Hootsuite
  • Update and maintain company blog with new blog articles
  • Organize and manage newsletters using Hubspot and/or Mailchimp
  • Research and monitor social media activity of competitors
  • Comfortable using applications such as Canva, Chat GPT or Bard AI, and others to produce social media content for LinkedIn or other types of collateral
  • Organize and manage creation of new content, including but not limited to webinar series, interviews, blogging, PR, etc.
  • Lead and/or assist commercial team to identify, organize and share marketing events/programs such as conferences, webinars, podcasts, and trade shows, if any
  • Event management and coordination including collateral, content, and campaigns
  • Manage overall marketing campaigns for product releases, partnerships, knowledge sharing series, etc.
  • Engage in industry related conversations within online community
  • Maintain and update website accordingly to improve customer journey and experience (not technical)


  • Curious person and likes to read/stay informed about current events, especially relating to technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, very meticulous, and high degree of work ethic
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications is a plus
  • Experience in copywriting, journalism, and/or event management is a plus
  • Graphic design, photoshop, illustrator, etc. skills is a plus
  • Experience in WebFlow is a plus
  • Experience using Hubspot and/or Mailchimp is a plus


  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Proven experience in managing marketing campaigns (excluding digital ads) and generating content to support those campaigns end-to-end
  • Positive attitude with excellent multitasking and organizational ability
  • Native equivalency in English
  • Background in Communications, Marketing, Business, Events, New Media or Public Relations
  • Background in B2B social media marketing is a plus*
