\nThis major role is responsible for leading La Vie’s operations. You will build adequate industrial capabilities with partners to support our local and international growth, directly reporting to our CEO and participating in the Comex. The COO manages several strategic pillars of the company: Quality, Project Management, Logistics & Consumer Service and Supply Chain.
\n\nWe have following missions for you:
\n\n1. Production:
\n\n- \n
Act as the “owner” of the business relationship with our co-manufacturers
\nSecure capacity for each of our products to sustain La Vie hypergrowth
\nIdentify opportunities for improvements, initiate and execute projects in collaboration with the co-manufacturers
\nContinuously improve cost, quality, service, ways-of-working of the co-manufactory operations
\nRun regular performance reviews with our co-manufacturers
\nExchange with the co-manufacturer's network and push recommendations for sourcing and optimization enhancements
\nIdentify and select new potential co-manufacturers in line with the manufacturing & sourcing strategy and standards
\nDiscuss and align with co-manufacturers on the ways-of-working
\n
2. Procurement:
\n\n- \n
- Negotiate and regularly review/update contracts and partnership agreements with our current co-manufacturers & suppliers \n
3. Product
\n\n- \n
Develop and lead quality processes for our portfolio of products
\nRefine our project management processes to improve our time to market on innovations
\n
4. Supply Chain:
\n\n- \n
- Implement timely and reliable metrics for safety, quality performance, overall equipment effectiveness & customer service \n
5. Management:
\n\n- \n
- Develop and inspire a team of 15 people in operations & supply, customer service, quality and project management. Provide technical guidance and day to day support \n
\nPreferred Experience\n
\n- \n
At least 10 to 15 years of experience in an Operations Management role in Fresh Food, preferably in UE and/or for an US based company, you know everything about production, Co-Man and in house.
\nAction-oriented, impact-oriented, pragmatic, structured
\nPeople Manager: understand that success can only occur through people and communication
\nYou are strategic with a long term vision as much as you are hands on, capable of finding solutions to day to day challenges & helping your team out with more operational tasks when needed
\nComfortable working in a high performing, analytical and results-driven environment
\nExcellent organisational and prioritisation skills
\nAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams
\nAbility to give and receive feedbacks
\nBilingual English and French
