The Role…

This is an unrivalled opportunity where you will lay the basis for enabling the company to develop its strategy by implementing an industry leading and scalable NPI process.
The role would suit a Project Manager from an Aerospace or Automotive NPI & Account management background, looking to build your own system for process improvement, helping us to achieve our goal of creating the perfect manufacturing solution as a global company.
You will be given all the necessary support and resources to enable you to perform your role to the highest standard.
What you'll be doing...
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will develop and implement the OTIF (On Time In Full) processes, and as the OTIF Project Manager you will be the focal point for the business on open orders within the supply chain. You will lead the work closely with the Procurement, Commercial, Quality, Manufacturing Production and Tech teams to support the business needs.
Key Responsibilities...
Full involvement from initial order placement with the supplier through to delivery, to drive design assurance, supplier Quality and Zero defects to ensure customer satisfaction.
To ensure that the requirements of all quality standards and accreditation are understood and communicated throughout the supply chain.
The implementation and promotion of a continuous improvement culture throughout the business and supply chain.
Working closely with the technology team to develop automated processes wherever practically possible.
Work closely with Supplier Quality to be responsible for root cause, corrective and preventive actions for all non conforming components and processes, building strong working relationships with suppliers and customers as required.

Previous Project Management experience with exposure to Supply Chain within the Aerospace, Energy, or Automotive Manufacturing industry - essential Experience of influencing suppliers is essential
New Product Introduction experience - From customer enquiry to factory industrialisation
NPI process development & improvement experience using CI techniques would be advantageous
Experience of creating and influencing cross functional teams is essential
A recognised Project management qualification is essential (PRINCE 2 or similar)
A HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering preferred.
Good Google suit skills (Mail, sheets, docs & slides in particular) are important for reporting
Good MS Project skills
Ability to write concise and effective process flows is essential.
The ability to read and understand complex 3D models, engineering drawings and Customer Specifications
A strong understanding of the dynamics of the Business, teams, functional departments and their interrelationships
Excellent customer service orientation with experience of acting as the company point of contact with customers
Excellent interpersonal communication and prioritisation skills
